Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Support clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences.
- Medication Reminders: Assist clients in taking medications on time and coordinate refills as needed.
- Light Housekeeping: Help with basic cleaning tasks to ensure a tidy and safe home environment.
- Engagement in Activities: Participate in daily activities that keep clients physically and mentally engaged, such as games, light exercises, and social activities.
- Companionship: Provide friendly conversation and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or outings when required.
- Monitor Client Well-Being: Observe any changes in client conditions and report to family or supervisors as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
- Physical Ability: Able to assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Certifications: CNA certification is a plus but not required.
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record.
