Senior Care Solutions is a home care provider serving Brazoria County and other areas throughout Southeast Texas. We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, non-medical care that feels like family. We’re looking for a reliable, caring, and dedicated Full-Time Caregiver to join our team! Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Personal Care: Support clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take medications on schedule and assist with refills when needed.
- Light Housekeeping: Help with basic cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment.
- Engage in Activities: Participate in and lead daily activities to keep clients mentally and physically active, including games, light exercise, and social outings.
- Companionship: Provide a warm, friendly presence and engaging conversation, ensuring that each client feels cared for and supported.
- Transportation: Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social events as needed.
- Monitor and Report: Observe any changes in the client’s condition and report promptly to family or the care coordinator.
Qualifications
- Previous Experience: 1+ years of experience in a caregiving role, preferably with seniors.
- Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and empathy.
- Physical Ability: Able to assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Certifications: CNA certification (preferred, but not required).
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record.
